UX Track: Where Design Meets Impact

Since 2016, our UX track has been shaping digital professionals across Europe. Grow your UX skills with hands-on workshops led by experienced practitioners and connect with a community of UX designers, researchers and strategists.

Is this track right for you?

If you’re a UX professional with at least two years of experience and a drive to expand your skills, this track is for you. It’s also a great opportunity for digital professionals—designers, developers, product managers—who want to gain practical knowledge in user experience design and strategy.

To ensure the highest quality of learning and engagement, we are limiting the number of attendees to 40.

What to expect

This track is dedicated to practical, workshop-driven learning. This year we will explore relevant topics in the UX field, from storytelling and accessibility to EventStorming and coping with emerging technologies.

Speakers

James Royal-Lawson

Senior digital adviser & founder @ Beantin

James Royal-Lawson is a senior digital adviser, designer, digital analyst, economist, and co-host of UX Podcast, driven by an endless curiosity. He has been creating, managing, measuring, and experimenting with digital experiences since first going online as a teenager in the 1980s—and professionally since the late 1990s.

Morana Perić

UX, Content and Localization Strategist @ DeepL

Morana is a Croatian-born Berlin-based localization, content and UX professional. She has spent the past 12 years working as a manager and leader in the tech industry, building up localization, content and UX teams and processes, and working on lean and efficient workflows.

Steven Syrek

Engineering Manager @ DeepL

Steven Syrek leads the Experimentation & Product Data Domain teams at DeepL. In his past lives, he was a frontend engineer and an English literature Ph.D. student. He runs a monthly meetup in Berlin to practice collaborative modeling techniques with fellow enthusiasts.

Paul Jervis Heath

Strategy & Innovation Consultant

Paul Jervis Heath is a designer and strategist with almost 30-years of experience. He led his own multi-award-winning design and innovation consultancy and now advises organisations on how to get the greatest impact from innovation and design.
