Beyond the Deal: Deep Dive Into a Post-merger Rollercoaster

For many software development agencies, final end game happens the be the merger or acquisition by a larger company. While it looks as a final step in evolution of any business, there is life after the transaction. This session will cover different aspects of the M&A deal, but it will mainly focus on post-acquisition dynamics. We will discuss lessons learned in this process, different cultural aspects of organizations, challenges and opportunities for software companies that come with significant change in scale after mergers. This session happens two and half years after Five closed its sales transaction with Endava, and  hopefully it will be interesting to share some thoughts with the audience that plans or contemplates similar entrepreneurial journeys.

SPEAKER INFO: Sven has had a long career in IT industry. Started back in the nineties at Microsoft, his last two decades were an interesting blend of corporate and entrepreneurial experiences. Having made two exits, one with his own business consulting company InfoCumulus, and another one as managing partner in Five, a leading digital agency, he is now Senior VP of delivery in Endava, a large UK IT services company.
