Travelling to Opatija is simple.
There are several options for travelling by plane. The closest airport is Rijeka (RJK). It doesn't have a lot of connections, but a 20-minute car ride gets you to Opatija. We also suggest airports in Pula (PUY) or Zagreb (ZAG). Ljubljana (LJU) and Trieste (TRS) are also relatively close airports.
If you're living in Croatia, Slovenia, Austria, northern Italy, Bosnia and Herzegovina, or Hungary, we highly recommend you travel by car.
